In just a short while\, you’re going to be able to shake off winter and meet with your very best friends\, fly your favorite RC models\, eat the very best food and enjoy life at the world’s premier aviation facility. It’s not too early to start planning the trip and anticipating the great times to come!\nThis year\, as in years past\, the Triple Tree gang has been hard at work. You just can’t imagine the incredibly beautiful new river bank camping spots. This area will rival (or top) the very best you’ll find anywhere. What could be better than RC “music” duing the day and the river gently lulling you to sleep at night? \n New restrooms have been built on the patio.\n The Electric Line runway has been nurtured\, leveled and rolled and should rival the main line runway. Yes\, it has that same incredible\, walk barefooted\, grass! \nThe vendors are going to be here in force and will have the very latest offerings.\nThe food planned for this year is going to be exactly what you expect….delicious. \nThe flying will be\, as always\, JUST AWESOME!\nSo\, shake off those winter blues and get your pre-registration in today. Before you know it\, you’ll be at YOUR home of “Fun\, Fellowship and Hospitality”.    \nPrice Varies!

SUMMARY:STEMAPALOOZA
DESCRIPTION:Explore Drones at McClure  Middle STEMAPALOOZA . The annual Family STEM Night that has broken school records for attendance and been used as a model for other schools. Family STEM night has connected our students and their families with professional engineers and scientists who volunteer to facilitate activities. One of the biggest benefits of the evening has been the outreach connection for culturally diverse families in our community. This is primarily due to our emphasis that children and parents participate in activities as a family. Students are not allowed to just be dropped off and left at the event without an adult. Fantastic discussions and interaction occur as parents or grandparents and children worked to solve STEM problems. One of the most satisfying experiences is watching a student explain to their parents how to follow the Engineering Design Process in order to solve a problem. Student’s eyes brighten as they assume the role of teacher and act as leader of their family design team. We have now organized family STEM celebrations not only at our school but also at museums and the enthusiasm for these interactive events is contagious.
