Jacquene Curlee is Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Kids Drone Zone. She manages and engage in critical policy issues, proven practices, and advances Kids drone Zone missions through advocacy.

Safety!

KDZ practices safety first! Safety Tip:  Read the instructions that come with your drone. First test your aviation skills in a very open environment, such as a football field or a quiet park. establish boundaries as to where he or she can fly. Know the FAA drone laws and the drone laws for your state.

Why Coding: It Prepares Your Scholar For The Digital Age!   Scholars jump-start their career & ensure future success by helping them master the computer coding languages! Programming allows scholars the ability to automate technology and bring it under your scholars control. Kids love drones. Our coding sessions, teach various types of languages that include booleans, conditionals, loops, variables, methods, arrays, switch statements, functions, and more.  Learning to code helps boost students’ proficiency in mathematics, problem solving, and critical thinking. While creating code, scholars are getting an understanding of how code works and practical applications. 

Experiences

Our core is hands-on. There is no need for chairs as excitement always fills the room. Scholars are literally our of their seats and engaged.  Bottom line..They Love our programs.  Why:  Because our programs stimulates youth curiosity and creativity, and increases critical thinking, decision-making and problem-solving skills. Additionally, scholars also network with drone and aviation industry providers.

Our training programs are particularly interesting as they attract diverse types of students, including adults looking to change careers.  In fact, we serve as a  workforce solutions” designed to impart practical skills that people can apply immediately to their jobs or use to get new jobs or start new businesses.

Our  world rapidly changes, and its imperative scholars have hands-on experience with today’s technology in real time. Our Build, Code Fly program provides real time exposure that helps scholars not only engage in a unique environment but also helps them plan for the future.

Our training programs, were established is in response to industry demand. Our training programs are particularly interesting as they attract diverse types of students, including adults looking to pursue technology  careers.  We offer customized unmanned workforce training (FAA license, Flight training, and Equipment Training) to meet industry needs, and assist industries with finding qualified workers.
