STUDENT AMBASSADOR APPLICATION
Global Drone Ambassadors are a group of young men and women (between the ages of 9-18) from around the world who represent the drone community at formal, social, and educational functions (face to face or virtual).
We provide leadership opportunities for exceptional students a chance to grow their leadership and communication skills, and inspire other students to take a more active interest in aviation and drones.
The most frequent tasks of a Global Drone Ambassadors is to educate scholars about aviation and drone industry. It’s the philosophy of Aviation Center of Excellence that our ambassadors are our best educators to provide peer on peer mentoring.

Qualifications:
Be between the ages of 10-18
Positive
Demonstrate strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
Exhibit leadership, initiative, dependability, discipline and enthusiasm

Ambassadors Will:
Learn about aviation/drones
Be educational resources
Attend regularly scheduled meetings and engage in committee assignments. (virtually)
Attend required trainings Promote aviation/drones
Consistent attendance
Periodically attend and assist with aviation/drone events
Collaborate on projects
Commit to making a long-lasting impact on scholars from around the globe

A Global Drone Ambassador must be enthusiastic, outgoing, and articulate. More than anything else, a Student Ambassador must WANT to serve in this capacity. It is an activity that requires a responsibility and COMMITMENT.
Application Deadline: Sunday, December 6, 2020 by 11:00 PM EST (New York Time (Daylight Savings Time). Zoom interviews will be held between: November 16- December 18, 2020.
Students will serve as a Global Drone Ambassador until, December 1, 2021.

Please read carefully I consent/give full permission to allow the minor listed to work with Kids Drone Zone and under the conditions stated above. I am the minors' Legal Parent or Legal Guardian. I acknowledge Kids Drone Zone ( or IDO) is not responsible for lost for stolen property of the minor. I acknowledge, my minor is not an employee of Kids Drone Zone ( or IDO). The minor may receive compensation and will also volunteer for activities. Release and Medical Policy: Insurance. I understand that, except as otherwise agreed to by the Released Parties in writing, the Released Parties are under no obligation to provide, carry or maintain health, medical, travel, disability or other insurance coverage for child. Parents are expected and encouraged to obtain his or her own health, medical, travel, disability or other insurance coverage. I understand that I am and remain responsible for payment of such hospital, physician, ambulance, dental, medical or other services obtained for me or my child. I agree that the Released Parties do not assume any responsibility for the payment of such fees or expenses which may be incurred. If I have health insurance, I understand my personal health insurance is my primary coverage. All pertinent medical information is up to date and accurate for minor child(ren). I understand I must provide all emergency medications (i.e. epi pen, inhaler) before my child can attend any program. Release: I understand there are risks of physical injury in participating in sports and recreational activities or programs. I agree to indemnify and hold Kids Drone Zone, IDO, its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers and employees, harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorney’s fees and costs, made by any third party due to or arising out of client’s use of the Service, the violation of this Agreement, or infringement by client. I hereby release of Kids Drone Zone IDO, its employees, officials and agents from any and all liability or loss or damage to personal property that my child or I may experience in connection with activities sponsored by Kids Drone Zone. I hereby consent to emergency medical procedures deemed advisable for me or for my child in the event I cannot be reached or give consent and either I or my child have sustained an injury. Kids Drone Zone does not provide medical, accident or hospitalization insurance for participants of its programs. All participants are advised to have adequate personal coverage. Please consider participant's own health, experience, and tolerance for risk before participating in any program. I also consent to the use of my or my child’s photo, video, artwork etc. by Kids Drone Zone for flyers, presentations, marketing, etc. Behavior Policy: For the safety and enjoyment of all the children we have the following policy in place: o First, a verbal warning is given. o Second, a written warning is sent home with the child. o As a last resort, if the written warning is not heeded, the child will be suspended from the Program. If your child should create a disturbance and become unmanageable, we will be required to have a parent or guardian pick up your child. Future attendance at the program will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis by staff. If monies have been submitted, there will be NO refunds/replacement if your child is released from any program. Refund Policy There are no Refunds. There are no refunds for missed classes. Kids Drone Zone reserves the right to cancel the program if a suitable number of participants fail to enroll or maintain enrollment. Payment Policy • Payment for the program is due in full upon registration I have carefully considered my decision, the benefits and risks involved and hereby give my informed consent, on behalf of the above-listed minor child, for him/her to participate in all Activities as set forth in the above Volunteer Agreement, Release and Waiver of Liability and such terms are incorporated herein. I have read and understand the above Agreement, Release and Waiver of Liability, any questions of mine have been answered and I voluntarily agree to all such provisions.
